Accounting Clerk
Department: Finance
Reports to: Finance Director
Type: Full time
Shift: M-F, 9am-5pm
Summary: Leading nonprofit organization in animal welfare has an opening in our finance department for an accounting clerk.Great growth opportunity for the individual who wants to expand their knowledge base in the financial sector.
Responsibilities Include:
· Accounts payable, receivable, maintaining journals and reconciliation of accounts.
· This position will assist in all aspects of accounting, including budgeting, audits, grant tracking, inventory, financial statements and more.
Position Requirements:
· 1-3 years related experience
· Payroll experience preferred
· Candidate should be strong in accounting systems and spreadsheets
· QuickBooks and Excel experience preferred
