Maintenance Director
Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Director at the Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our buildings, equipment, and grounds.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Operations: Oversee the daily maintenance activities of the facility, including routine repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and accountability for maintenance expenses.
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, in regards to maintenance and repair activities.
- Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans and protocols, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, staff, and visitors in the event of unexpected events or emergencies.
