Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. This is a FULL_TIME opportunity, working every other weekend with a schedule of 16 hours.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities, toileting, bathing, dressing, and grooming
Record vital signs, medication administration, and patient intake/output
Participate in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Report any concerns or changes in patient condition to the RN or other members of the care team
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Connecticut
High school diploma or equivalent required
