About the Role
Berkshire Search Partners is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition, talent placement, and business growth within the staffing and recruiting industry.
This role is ideal for a motivated recruiting professional who enjoys building client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and managing the full recruitment lifecycle from initial client engagement through successful candidate placement.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and manage their own portfolio of clients while working independently in a flexible, remote environment. This position offers significant earning potential through a transparent, performance-based commission structure.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Management
- Develop new client relationships and expand existing accounts.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities within target industries.
- Build long-term partnerships with hiring managers and decision-makers.
- Manage client expectations and deliver high-quality recruiting solutions.
- Conduct market research and maintain awareness of industry hiring trends.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Source, screen, interview, and evaluate qualified candidates.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake to placement.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines.
- Match qualified professionals with client requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, offer negotiations, and placement activities.
Account Growth & Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and account expansion.
- Ensure a positive experience throughout the hiring process.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate recruiting and client records.
- Track recruiting metrics and placement activities.
- Collaborate with internal team members when required.
- Utilize company resources, systems, and recruiting infrastructure effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of staffing agency recruiting experience.
- Proven success in business development and client acquisition.
- Experience managing a full recruiting desk.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
