Job Title: Inside Sales Representative – HVAC
Location: Rockland, ME
Salary: $70,000–$80,000
Overview:
Responsible for supporting HVAC sales through technical expertise, customer consultation, and solution-based selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare bid proposals, job layouts, and product specifications for hydronic and steam boiler systems
- Provide technical support on product selection, troubleshooting, pricing, and application suitability
- Develop and evaluate quotes, bid submissions, and alternative solutions to meet customer needs
- Coordinate sourcing of materials and manage purchase orders and inter-branch transfers
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate, competitive proposals
- Monitor long-lead orders and provide timely customer updates to ensure strong service delivery
- Recommend inventory and pricing adjustments to support business growth and competitiveness
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting sales expansion strategies
Qualifications:
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, heating, or related technical field
- Ability to design layouts and specify components for boiler systems preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer tools
