Outside Sales Trainee
Location: Hampden, ME
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Trainee to learn all aspects of our business through hands-on training in warehouse operations, counter sales, and inside sales before transitioning into an outside sales role.
Responsibilities
- Complete training in warehouse, counter sales, and inside sales operations.
- Develop and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits and provide solutions to support their business growth.
- Create territory growth plans and identify sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with branch personnel to meet customer needs.
- Track customer activity, sales calls, expenses, and reporting requirements.
- Stay informed of market and competitor activity.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Desire to build a long-term career in outside sales.
