Our client is seeking a hands-on HR Manager with a strong foundation in California employment law to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities
- :Serve as the on-site HR leader for a 24/7 manufacturing facility, supporting both hourly and salaried employees
- .Ensure full compliance with California wage and hour laws, federal labor regulations, and company policies
- .Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, expansion, and potential new site buildouts
- .Lead change management initiatives related to growth, restructuring, or process improvements
- .Champion a lean, agile HR approach in alignment with WCM or continuous improvement principles
- .Oversee employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and compliance training
- .Maintain and optimize HR systems (HRIS) and ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity
- .Drive culture-building efforts and foster collaboration across teams
.Qualifications
- :5 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong preference for tenure within manufacturing environments
- .Demonstrated expertise in California employment law and federal HR compliance
- .Experience supporting 24/7 operations or facilities with a large hourly workforce
- .Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- .Proven track record of staying and growing within a single company preferred
- .Experience leading HR through change management, expansion, or new facility setup
- .Familiarity with WCM, Lean, or similar manufacturing methodologies is a plus
- .Must reside in California and be available to work onsite five days per week
