Responsibilities
- Carefully trim, prune, and manicure cannabis plants using hand tools and trimming scissors to promote healthy growth and optimal appearance
- Remove excess leaves, stems, and other plant material to enhance product quality and presentation
- Inspect plants regularly for pests, diseases, or deficiencies, and report issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and tools to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
- Assist with harvesting activities as needed, including drying and curing processes
- Follow all safety protocols related to handling plant materials and equipment
- Support greenhouse or indoor cultivation tasks as required, including watering, staking, or supporting plants
Skills
- Strong knowledge of plant identification and horticultural practices
- Experience with irrigation systems and growing techniques in greenhouse or indoor environments
- Familiarity with gardening, landscaping, farming, or agriculture practices
- Mechanical knowledge of hand tools such as scissors, shears, trimmers, and pruning equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during harvest or setup activities
- Basic math skills for measuring plant growth or trimming quantities accurately
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control in plant grooming
- Comfortable working indoor in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience
- Knowledge of greenhouses or controlled environment agriculture is a plus
