Position Summary
We are seeking a Customer Quality / Quality Liaison professional to support communication between the customer and plant while ensuring quality expectations are met. This role is responsible for inspecting product at the customer site, documenting and communicating quality concerns, supporting containment and rework activities, and helping drive customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform product inspections at customer locations
- Document and communicate customer non-conformances to the plant
- Escalate recurring or high-risk quality concerns to the Quality Engineer
- Rework and contain non-conforming material to minimize customer impact
- Maintain clear communication between customer and plant representatives
- Support customer satisfaction and rapid response activities
- Assist with quality reporting and documentation
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- 1–3 years of automotive or manufacturing quality experience
- 1–3 years of automotive interior rework experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 lbs
