Duties
- Mow lawns, trim edges, and perform detailed landscaping to ensure pristine appearance and health of turf and plantings
- Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters safely and efficiently
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, planting, fertilizing, mulching, and soil preparation
- Use hand tools and heavy equipment like excavators for landscape construction or hardscape projects such as patios or walkways
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment and landscape maintenance tools
- Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, tree care, and horticulture practices
- Familiarity with construction experience related to hardscape features like patios or retaining walls
- Skilled in operating power tools safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent understanding of landscaping principles combined with hands-on experience in mowing, trimming, pruning, and snow plowing
