We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems including pumps, motors, conveyors, and other equipment essential for daily operations.
- Assist with construction projects or upgrades by providing mechanical expertise and support as needed.
- Manage maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies to ensure availability of necessary parts and tools.
- Lead or support team members in equipment repairs or system upgrades while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven service technician experience with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Experience with appliance installation, equipment repair, and maintenance operations in commercial or industrial settings.
- Construction experience is a plus, especially involving mechanical system setup or upgrades.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Leadership skills or previous supervisory experience in maintenance roles are advantageous but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
