What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Solution Architect position at TMV Global Inc?
System Assessment & Performance Enhancement: Analyze the existing customer experience and marketing data landscape to uncover major performance constraints, system inefficiencies, and processing delays.
Architecture & Data Movement Planning: Develop high-level solution blueprints, comprehensive data flow and lineage documentation (source → processing → target), and conceptual API/interface specifications.
Technical Evaluation & Recommendation: Assess multiple solution options for challenging integration scenarios and present their advantages, limitations, risks, and business impact to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Lead requirement-gathering sessions with marketing stakeholders, product management, and engineering teams while simplifying complex technical concepts into clear business-oriented discussions.
Compliance & Architecture Governance: Ensure all proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture frameworks (including TOGAF principles) and maintain adherence to data privacy, consent management, PII protection, GDPR, and CCPA requirements.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
Customer Engagement Domain Knowledge: Extensive hands-on experience architecting solutions for sophisticated loyalty ecosystems, including points management, tier structures, earning/redemption processes, customer profiles, and omnichannel marketing initiatives such as segmentation, audience targeting, and personalization.
Integration & Event-Driven Expertise: Strong proficiency in modern integration methodologies, including event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging platforms (Kafka/MSK), and scalable data processing frameworks and ETL pipelines (preferably Airflow or NiFi).
Customer Data & Modeling Expertise: Solid understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), identity matching/resolution strategies, and data modeling approaches, including normalized and denormalized design considerations.
AWS Cloud Knowledge: Practical understanding of AWS services across compute platforms (EC2, container technologies, serverless computing), storage solutions (S3, RDS, DynamoDB), and foundational networking/security components (VPCs, subnets, and related controls).
Broad Technical Understanding (T-Shaped Profile): Working knowledge across the technology stack, including API consumption by web and mobile applications, architectural considerations of microservices versus monolithic systems, CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and contemporary marketing technology solutions including Adobe and Braze.
Industry Background (Preferred): Previous architecture experience within travel, hospitality, or airline environments, particularly involving booking journey processes (Search → Offer → Order → Fulfillment) and Passenger Service Systems (PSS), will be considered a significant advantage.
