Now Hiring: Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in Chicago. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who can manage the full accounting cycle, support month-end close activities, and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

✔ Execute month-end close processes and maintain the general ledger

✔ Perform GL, bank, and account reconciliations

✔ Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

✔ Assist with internal and external audits

✔ Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions

✔ Process vendor invoices utilizing a 3-way match process

✔ Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies

✔ Process weekly check runs

✔ Post cash receipts, electronic payments, and customer payments

✔ Reconcile credit card transactions and collections activities

✔ Collaborate with the CFO and cross-functional teams on financial initiatives

✔ Support special projects and other accounting functions as needed

Required Qualifications:

✅ Strong experience with full-cycle accounting

✅ MAS 90 / Sage 100 accounting software experience

✅ General Ledger and Bank Reconciliation experience

✅ Month-End Close and Financial Statement Preparation

✅ Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Processing

✅ Vendor Reconciliation, Cash Application, and Collections

✅ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
