Job Description – EDP QA / Quality Engineering Lead
The EDP QA / QE Lead is responsible for establishing and driving the enterprise-wide quality engineering approach for the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), ensuring data reliability, integrity, performance, and overall confidence in both migrated and newly developed data assets. As the EDP replaces the existing on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), this role plays a critical part in validating data migrations, data pipelines, transformations, and reconciliation processes against source and legacy platforms throughout multiple migration phases.
This position is heavily focused on data quality assurance rather than conventional application or UI testing. The primary responsibility is validating data accuracy, transformation logic, reconciliation, consistency, and pipeline quality across the platform. The Lead develops and governs the enterprise Data Quality framework and testing strategy aligned with the EDP implementation roadmap, migration waves, and release timelines. This includes oversight of automated testing, migration verification, performance validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and release readiness checkpoints.
In addition, the role leads and coordinates QA / QE team members working across various implementation streams. These teams are responsible for executing test scenarios, managing defect identification and resolution, and supporting UAT activities, while the Lead establishes quality standards, testing tools, environments, governance processes, and reporting metrics to maintain consistent quality across the overall program.
