ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service toward pool users.
- Opens pool facilities including removing and replacing pool covers, if any.
- Responsible for the security of the pool area (i.e. lock doors, etc).
- Ensures pool equipment is in proper working order and in its place prior to opening the facility.
- Attentively monitors the pool area for accidents in or out of the water, hazards, debris and trash.
- Supervise all patrons in and around the pool area.
- Responsible for the safety of all participants in and about the pool area.
- Able to make sound judgments in an emergency situation.
- Able to make sound judgments and decisions involving rules to the pool.
- Aware and knowledgeable of emergency procedures; including completion of proper documentation.
- Enforces all pool rules and regulations.
- Maintains a safe and clean swimming environment for pool patrons.
- Ability to initiate and create friendly relationships with pool patrons, guests and staff.
- Directs the patrolling of the pool and the enforcement of rules and regulations.
- Oversees the maintenance of the swimming pool.
