Lead Custodian

Title: Lead Custodian

Location: Kennewick, WA (Resort at Hansen Park)

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00/hour

This is not a typical custodial role. At the Resort at Hansen Park, cleanliness is part of the experience. We’re creating a high-end, resort-style community where every space feels intentional, polished, and resident-ready always. We’re looking for a Lead Custodian who takes ownership of their environment, sets the standard, and is ready to step into a leadership role as the property continues to grow.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain cleanliness across Club 10, fitness areas, lounges, restrooms, and shared spaces
• Ensure all areas consistently meet a high-end, resort-level standard
• Perform routine and deep cleaning (floors, glass, surfaces, high-touch areas)
• Monitor and maintain outdoor entry areas and first impressions
• Serve as the on-site lead for custodial operations
• Help train and guide future team members as the team expands
• Manage inventory, ordering, and organization of all cleaning supplies
• Operate and maintain commercial cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums)
• Coordinate with vendors for specialty services like carpet cleaning and window washing
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with cleaning standards
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 3 years of custodial or janitorial experience (commercial, hospitality, or multifamily preferred)
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and products
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Organized and proactive with inventory and supply management
• Leadership mindset or prior lead experience preferred
  
  

Schedule

• Sunday–Thursday early morning schedule (starting as early as 3:00 AM)
• Additional hours scheduled throughout the week based on property needs
• Flexibility to support occasional weekends or special projects
