Job Description

The Business Process & Software Integration Lead supports the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Financial Management Tool Suite (AFMTS) and the TDY-To-School Management Information System (TTSMIS). This role is responsible for leading the integration of business processes with enterprise software solutions that support AETC financial and training operations.The position collaborates closely with the Program Manager, functional stakeholders, and technical teams to translate mission needs into system enhancements, ensure effective system performance, and maintain compliance with Air Force and Department of Defense policies. The role plays a key part in sustaining and improving mission-critical systems used across CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead integration of business processes and workflows into AFMTS and TTSMIS applications
• Support requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation with functional stakeholders
• Coordinate software development life cycle (SDLC) activities, including planning, design,
  
  

testing, and deployment

• Monitor system performance, data integrity, and operational effectiveness
• Support configuration control board (CCB) activities and change management processes
• Ensure compliance with Air Force instructions, DoD policies, Privacy Act requirements, and
  
  

RMF controls

• Provide technical and process recommendations to improve system efficiency and
  
  

effectiveness

• Communicate status, risks, and issues to the Program Manager and government stakeholders
