Tiello has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in the Des Moines, IA area on their search for a Business Development Manager with experience in construction sales.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to create our first CRM
- Develop proof-of-work collateral, pitch decks, and brand positioning materials in collaboration with leadership
- Identify new business to be able to bid
- Build relationships with Tier-1 brokers and property managers to secure preferred vendor status for TI and commercial work
- Build relationships in different commercial sectors
- Partner with our estimating team to ensure bids are submitted on time, then lead the follow-up strategy to close
- Be the representation at real estate meetups, AEC associations, and industry networking events
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong relationship building skills
- Existing relationships with commercial brokers, property managers, or facilities directors in Iowa
- 2-5 years in construction or sales experience.
