Position Overview
The company is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up and renovation commercial projects ranging from $500K – $40M.
This role is ideal for a hands-on builder who takes pride in running projects in the field, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and with high quality. You will be the leader on-site, coordinating daily operations and working closely with Project Managers to drive successful execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities from start to finish
- Develop and manage project schedules in coordination with Project Managers
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and field personnel
- Ensure jobsite safety, quality control, and compliance with project plans
- Conduct daily site meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
- Monitor progress and proactively address delays or challenges
- Maintain project documentation, including daily reports and logs
- Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project closeout
- Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are aligned with project needs
Requirements
- 8 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Experience leading ground-up and renovation projects ($500K–$40M preferred)
- Background in commercial projects such as K-12, healthcare, multifamily, municipal, or similar
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and field coordination
- Proven ability to lead crews and subcontractors effectively
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Travel Expectations
- All projects are local to the Kansas City metro
