Position Overview
The company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee ground-up and renovation commercial projects ranging from $500K – $20M.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiation, and procurement
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the main point of contact
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure alignment on schedule and execution
- Monitor project financials, including cost control, change orders, and projections
- Identify risks and proactively implement solutions
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, and closeout processes
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Experience managing ground-up and renovation projects ($500K–$20M preferred)
- Background in commercial projects such as K-12, healthcare, multifamily, municipal, or similar
- Experience working in negotiated/design-build environments is a plus
- Strong financial management and client-facing experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Travel Expectations
- All projects are local to the Kansas City metro
