Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. The ideal candidate will support bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Assist bartenders with preparing drinks and serving customers as needed.
- Stock the bar with necessary supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system.
- Support catering events by setting up and breaking down service areas as required.
- Buss tables in the bar area to ensure a tidy environment for guests.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or bartending is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to clean efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a nightclub setting.
