Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Lead Dental Assistant to support our Zelienople Office, with flexibility to assist at our other locations as scheduling needs demand.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, working closely with our doctors to provide advanced endodontic care and a welcoming patient experience. Key Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during endodontic procedures with efficiency, precision, and professionalism.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and infection-control protocols.
- Capture and process digital dental radiographs (X-rays) according to practice standards.
- Support patient management by providing clear communication, comfort, and post-treatment education.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the practice’s electronic dental software.
- Monitor inventory to ensure operatories are fully stocked and ready for use.
- Collaborate with team members and float across offices as needed to support consistent, high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience required
- Current X-ray certification required
- Computer literacy and the ability to learn dental software systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must meet all standard work clearances prior to employment.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between offices.
Schedule
- Full-Time: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, depending on patient flow
- No evenings, weekends, or holidays
