Salary Range: $74,400 - $119,700
- Develop and maintain Primavera P6 project schedules using best practices.
- Perform cost and schedule analysis on projects. Identify areas of concern and recommend corrective action, follow up to ensure the action is complete and correct.
- Prepare, track and create reports for project managers at all levels; detailed monitoring and controlling action as necessary. Full support includes WBS development, Annual Work Plans, labor forecasting, and Earned Value performance reporting.
- Monitor cost, earned value and manpower data, maintain databases and prepare reports necessary to meet project requirements and JLab management needs.
- Pull data from the Costpoint financial system by writing reports using the Cognos CER query software. Analyze data to ensure understanding and know how to direct Cognos to get the correct information with "hands off" importing and exporting skills.
- Identify potential planning, and/or cost problems. Inform the managers of these problems and propose actions to fix them with enough time to prevent negative impact on the project.
- Bachelor's Degree BSBA in Management (or a related field) required
- 5 or more years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative capacity
- 5 or more years of experience with DOE or federal government project controls analysis
- In-depth knowledge and experience with DOE or federal government project software suites required
- Familiarity with the use of the WEB preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making, and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- PMP certification preferred
