Salary Range:$80,300 - $142,300 (SCS-I)
Provide system administration support for Windows systems, Azure and other Cloud services. Provide systems level support to JLab by providing configuration management, patch remediation and upgrades for Windows systems. Provide support in the integration and deployment of cloud resources as we migrate resources to the cloud. Develop programs to automate tasks, for system integration and to provide new services.
- Systems Administration: Provide systems administration support for the Windows systems managed by the CST Division, including software installation and configuration, backups, and system configuration and maintenance.
- Assist in the development and deployment of changes to the Windows Active Directory domain to improve and enhance the security and functionality of the central Windows environment.
- System Support and Development: Assist in the development and deployment of additional features for windows and other software services.
- Develop programs using PowerShell and other languages to automate tasks, integrate systems and provide new services. Develop interfaces to various cloud services, such as Azure or ServiceNow in order to provide additional functionality.
- Cloud Services: Assist in the integration and deployment of cloud infrastructure resources to provide updated features and functionality.
- Work with others to plan, design, and implement appropriate resources in support of the Jefferson Lab community. Ensure all cloud resources maintain data security and provide documentation and analysis of these tools.
- Provide after hours support.
- Preferred: Management of Windows Systems using Active Directory And
- Preferred: Experience with Powershell and at least one of C/C , Python, Java in supporting Active Directory And
- Preferred: experience with current Windows Operating Systems And
- Preferred: Experience using kubernetes, or other container tools, to deploy services
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Relevant experience may not be substituted for education.
- Medium: Knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, configuration management and maintenance.
- Low: Knowledge of kubernetes or other container tools for deploying services.
- Medium: Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts and usage in a Windows or Linux environment.
