Dining Room Server

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Dining Room Server to join our team in our continuing care retirement community. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure guests have a memorable dining experience, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Takes drink and meal orders from residents and guests, and fulfills those orders. Serving tables according to established guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take meal/drink orders and serves meals in a friendly and timely manner.

• Able to work in a senior housing environment which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.

• Assures resident/guest is satisfied with their meal.

• Maintains knowledge of all specials and general descriptions of all food items and explains them to residents and guests.

• Maintains all side stations and dining areas using the “clean as you go” policy.

• Follows daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing outstanding service.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
