What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Advisor position at The Well?
Compensation: $85,000–$150,000 Base Uncapped Commission | $250,000–$800,000 Long-Term Earning Potential
We're hiring a Financial Advisor on behalf of our client — a fast-growing, independent RIA firm based in Alpharetta, GA, managing $400M in assets for high-net-worth individuals and families.
This is not your average advisor role. No cold calling. No prospecting. No paperwork. Our client's robust marketing engine delivers 200–400 qualified prospects annually — all you do is show up, follow a proven process, and close.
Why This Role?
- Walk into a full pipeline — prospects are pre-qualified and delivered to you
- No paperwork or contracts — support staff handles all of it so you stay face-to-face with clients
- Massive income trajectory — Year 1 target: $10M closed; Year 2: $20M ; Year 3 : $20–$40M annually
- Learn from the best — absorb 15 years of proven closing expertise directly from the firm's founder
- Clear growth path — reporting to the founder now, with a defined path to greater independence
- Faith-based, values-driven culture — collaborative, high-expectation, and mission-focused
What You'll Do
- Meet with a steady flow of qualified, pre-screened prospects ($1M–$10M in investable assets)
- Follow a structured, proven engagement process to identify client needs and present planning strategies
- Guide prospects through investment, income, tax, protection, and legacy planning
- Convert qualified prospects into long-term clients by communicating the value of comprehensive financial planning
- Build and articulate financial plans that address all five dimensions of the firm's proprietary wealth process
- Proactively follow up with prospective and current clients to maintain momentum and relationships
What You Bring
- 3 years of Financial Advisory or Wealth Management experience
- CFP® designation required; Series 63 or 65 required; Life and Health insurance licenses required or willing to obtain
- Comfort with intangible selling — you're confident presenting concepts and strategies, not products
- Exceptional people skills — you can read the room, build rapport fast, and stay composed under pressure
- Strong knowledge of investments, cash flows, tax strategy, and retirement planning
- A genuine desire to serve — you're in this to help clients, not just close deals
- Process-oriented mindset — you follow a system and do it well, while staying relational and adaptive
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Located in or near Alpharetta — Sandy Springs, Roswell, Johns Creek, Milton, Woodstock, Canton, or Peachtree Corners preferred
- Hungry, driven, and growth-oriented — you want to build something big and you're willing to put in the work
- Coachable and fast learner — this firm moves fast and expects the same from its team
- Comfortable in a faith-based, conservative, high-performance environment
What We Offer
- $85,000–$150,000 base salary (lower base = higher upside; ideal candidate takes the upside)
- Uncapped commissions — realistic path to $500,000–$800,000 within 3–7 years
- High Deductible Health Plan available; employer covers 50% of healthcare costs
- Automatic 3% 401(k) contribution after 6 months — no match required from you
- 10 days PTO approximately 10 paid holidays annually
- Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm in-office schedule (Friday until 4pm)
