Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join a dedicated team of MDs, NPs, and CNMs in a growing community with approximately 1300 deliveries annually. As a Hospitalist, you will provide
24/7 in-house obstetric coverage for labor & delivery, triage, and emergency OB care, including management of high-risk pregnancies, obstetric emergencies, and unassigned/ED patients. Your role involves performing vaginal deliveries, operative vaginal deliveries, and cesarean sections as primary surgeon, collaborating with midwives, community OB/GYNs, anesthesia, pediatrics, and nursing to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
You will respond to OB/GYN consults from hospital departments, evaluate gynecologic issues, and round on post-op patients. Credentialed minor GYN procedures such as D&C, diagnostic laparoscopy, and management of early pregnancy loss/ectopic pregnancy are also part of your responsibilities. The schedule includes weekday and weekend 24-hour call shifts.
The practice features a remodeled Labor and Delivery Unit with a Level III NICU, subspecialty support, and established Gyn Oncology. Candidates must be BC/BE in OB/GYN. The location offers a vibrant, family-friendly environment with excellent amenities and educational opportunities. The compensation is $218,129 for 0.6 FTE, with potential bonuses and incentives.
