Role: Acute Rehab Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients in an acute rehab setting to restore mobility, function, and independence following surgery, illness, or injury.
  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Provide gait, balance, and therapeutic exercise interventions.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery processes.
  • Document patient progress in the EMR.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Relevant clinical expertise in acute rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication and educational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented, patient-focused environment.

Key Duties: Focus on patient-centered care, clinical documentation, team collaboration, and implementing evidence-based therapies to promote recovery and independence.
