The UPS Store in Holly Springs is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Full-Time Sales Associates to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you!
As a Sales Associate, your role goes beyond providing excellent customer service. You'll help customers with shipping, packing, printing, mailbox services, and other business solutions while identifying opportunities to recommend products and services that best meet their needs. The ideal candidate is confident, personable, and comfortable with upselling and cross-selling as a natural part of delivering exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Assist customers with shipping, packing, printing, mailbox services, and retails sales
- Confidently recommend, upsell, and cross-sell products and services based on each customer's needs
- Educate customers on the benefits of additional services, packaging options, mailbox services, printing solutions, and other products
- Operate computers, point-of-sale systems, and office equipment
- Accurately process customer transactions and handle payments
- Answer phones and assist customers with questions and service inquiries
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store
- Work efficiently with teammates to keep operations running smoothly
- Learn our products and services so you can confidently recommend the best solutions for each customer
What We're Looking For
- Previous customer service or retail sales experience preferred
- A positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping customers
- Strong sales mindset with the confidence to upsell and cross-sell products and services in a genuine, customer-focused manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
- Strong attention to detail and organized skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift packages and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
