This member of the Public Programs team provides customer service and supports program logistics at museum and special events. Duties include event set-up, ticket-taking, concession management, event clean-up, and/or other related duties.
Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
Ability to secure and handle cash.
Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgements.
Ability to lift 25 pounds, including tables, chairs, and other items.
Organized and punctual with good sense of humor and flexibility.

Conditions of Employment
Less than high school; no previous experience required.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Sensitivity to museum environment and procedures.
Bilingual Spanish-English language proficiency preferred.
Basic Technical Skills And/or Stage Management Experience a Plus.
Additional Requirements Basic computer literacy skills. Ability to work flexible schedule with primary duties on nights and weekends.
