Associate Creative Director (Experiential Social)

Reports To: Creative Director
Salary Range: $100K to $125K
The Opportunity
We’re seeking an Associate Creative Director to serve as a key creative partner to the Creative Director, helping lead concept development, elevate design execution, and integrate digital and social thinking into live experiences.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, concept, and execution — ideal for someone ready to step into leadership while remaining hands-on in the work.
You’ll help shape big ideas, guide designers, and ensure that every experience is not only visually compelling but also culturally relevant and extendable beyond the live moment.
What You’ll Do
Concept & Creative Development

Co-lead ideation and concept development across projects — from initial brainstorm through pitch

Translate client objectives into strong, insight-driven creative concepts

Help define the visual and narrative direction for experiential programs
Design Leadership

Oversee and contribute to the creation of mood boards, renderings, and presentations

Ensure high-quality, on-brand creative output across all deliverables

Provide direction and feedback to designers and freelance creatives

Step in as a lead creative on select projects
Experiential Digital Integration

Champion how experiences extend into social, content, and digital ecosystems

Guide development of social-first ideas tied to live events (pre/during/post)

Ensure concepts are culturally relevant and platform-aware
Client Engagement

Support (and sometimes lead) client presentations and creative discussions

Confidently articulate ideas, rationale, and creative direction

Build trust as a day-to-day creative partner to clients
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with the Creative Director to execute the overall vision

Collaborate with production, strategy, and account teams to align creative with feasibility and budgets

Mentor junior designers and help elevate team output
What You Bring

6–8 years of experience in experiential, event design, or integrated creative roles

Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking execution across live and digital/social
-
Experience leading projects and/or mentoring junior creatives

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite familiarity with 3D/spatial design tools

Strong presentation and storytelling skills

Ability to balance big ideas with real-world production constraints
