ACCOUNT DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE
The primary objective of the Account Director is to evolve client relationships from a service-based,
vendor-client dynamic into a strategic, indispensable partnership that drives long-term, profitable
growth for the agency.
The Account Director has demonstrated success in Account Services in the Experiential Event industry.
They are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their
objectives, and working closely with our internal teams to deliver tailored experiential solutions. The
Account Director is also responsible for identifying new opportunities within their account portfolio,
pitching for new projects, and contributing to the growth and development of the agency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ͐ Manage a portfolio of existing clients, building strong relationships and identifying
opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services ͐ Ensure that your client records in our CRM (currently HubSpot) are accurate and current ͐ Understand client event objectives, preferences, and budgets, and work closely with internal
teams to deliver tailored event solutions ͐
Participate as a member of the Account Services team and follow best practices and processes

Prioritize department rocks ͐ Consistently support company values ͐ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the experiential industry, including trends, best practices,
and competitor activities ͐ Identify new business opportunities, research potential clients, and pitch for new projects ͐ Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics ͐ Contribute to the development and implementation of agency marketing strategies and
initiatives ͐ Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless event delivery and high levels of
client satisfaction ͐ Develop and manage proposals, pitches, and presentations ͐ Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients ͐ Manage client budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to agency margins ͐ Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving any
issues that may arise

considered.) ͐ Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a related field ͐ Track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional
customer service ͐ Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills ͐ Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines ͐ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills ͐ Ability to think creatively and develop innovative event solutions ͐ Comprehensive understanding of experiential event production and content production ͐ Proficiency in standard business software, including CRM ͐ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
