The Assistant Project Manager supports the coordination and execution of broadband and linear utility projects, including fiber‑optic construction, conduit installation, and aerial/underground utility work. This role assists Project Managers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and tracking broadband and utility construction activities.
- Maintain project documents including plans, permits, redlines, and progress reports.
- Conduct site visits and support field crews with daily project needs.
- Provide status updates, production tracking, and schedule reports for leadership and clients.
- Support budgeting tasks, purchase orders, invoices, and material coordination.
- Communicate with permitting agencies, utilities, municipalities, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in broadband, telecom, utilities, or construction coordination.
- Basic understanding of fiber, utility systems, or linear infrastructure work.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn project/GIS tools.
Preferred:
- 1–3 years in broadband or utility construction support.
- Familiarity with construction plans, fiber routes, utility prints, and permitting.
- Knowledge of aerial/underground construction or splicing processes.
- Safety certifications (OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR).
