Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and creative Event and Wedding Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for planning and executing flawless events, from intimate weddings, corporate functions, fundraisers, and private events. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation and Planning:
- Meet with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget for events and weddings.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on event design, theme, and logistics.
- Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and checklists.
2. Vendor Coordination:
- Identify and coordinate with vendors.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Oversee vendor contracts and ensure compliance with all agreements.
3. Event Design and Execution:
- Coordinate and supervise event setup, including decorations, seating arrangements, and any additional equipment.
- Manage the event day activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues promptly.
4.Post-Event Evaluation:
- Conduct post-event evaluations to create reports on clients experiences.
- Analyze event performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide detailed reports and summaries to clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years Proven experience as an Event Coordinator, Wedding Planner, or in a similar role.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Certification in event planning (e.g., Certified Wedding Planner, Certified Meeting Professional) is a plus.
