What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Host position at Expressions Art Studio?
Overview
Host galleries, showcases, Paint N Sips and other fun arts and crafts classes at Expressions Art Studio! You do not need to be an artist nor a teacher. You can collaborate with our friendly art teachers! (If you do choose to teach the class yourself, you will receive additional payment for also being the teacher.) Pay ranges from $15-$25/hour (larger events that include more people attending pay you more and smaller events will start at $15/hour.) The ideal Host/Hostess will be friendly and organized. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. We have fun Halloween and Christmas themed events coming up in addition to our regular events! Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service and assisting with the coordination of the events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and be great at creating memorable experiences. Expressions Art Studio is a relatively new art studio that opened in February 2025. We are looking forward to celebrating our first holiday season with members of the community!
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise
- Assist with event management, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly
- Provide excellent customer service
- Process cash handling transactions accurately
- Collaborate with our art teachers, assistant managers, and the rest of the Expressions Art Studio team to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- No experience necessary
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
