What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Service Worker position at The Staff Pad?
Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas in compliance with hospital standards.
Handle and dispose of materials properly to prevent the spread of infection and odors.
Safely clean and disinfect areas exposed to blood, body fluids, or infectious materials per OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards.
Ensure a sanitary, comfortable, and orderly environment throughout the facility.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least one year of prior housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred.
Ability to follow instructions, maintain compliance, and uphold hospital safety standards.
