We are seeking a Steward to support our event team by ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen and service environment after events. This role is essential to the success of our operations and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

What This Role Looks Like Day to Day
This is a part-time/seasonal role with hours based on event needs. Shifts typically range from 4–8 hours and can fall on any day of the week depending on the event schedule. This role primarily supports post-event breakdown and kitchen reset, ensuring all equipment and spaces are clean and ready for the next service.
Key Responsibilities
- Dishwashing, sanitizing, and proper storage of kitchen equipment and service ware
- Assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup
- Pack and organize catering equipment and supplies into company vehicles
- Move catering vans to and from designated storage locations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dish area, and storage spaces
- Take out trash, recycling, and compost following proper procedures
- Support team with additional cleaning and organizational tasks as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Check scheduling app prior to shifts for updates and communication
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous dishwashing, stewarding, or kitchen support experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Scheduling
- Shifts range from 4–8 hours depending on event needs
- Flexible availability required, including evenings and weekends
- Events are scheduled in advance, with occasional short-notice shifts
- Schedules typically shared 2 weeks in advance
