Role Overview: We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual for the role of Back of House Events Manager. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel in organization and problem-solving, and have a passion for food and team leadership, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and leading back-of-house activities, including cooking, assembly, and delivery of dishes and banquets for weddings, and private parties in accordance with the event schedule.
- Review and verify BEO prior to the event, contacting Catering Manager with any questions. Distribute final BEO to BOH staff for event day.
- Work with Chef to plan staff for for your event needs
- Effectively communicate with the front of house team on event days in order to ensure smooth running of events.
- Be responsible for food safety checks and maintain documentation in line with legislative and best practice requirements.
- Work closely with FOH manager on-site to maintain and adjust schedule, as needed
- Participate in weekly meeting to discuss upcoming events and review previous events
Physical Requirements:
- Long periods standing/walking;
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.;
- Ability to crouch, kneel, bend, or reach overhead and below the waist;
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle.
Other Requirements:
- Proven management experience and excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to receive feedback and give feedback
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Open availability Wednesday through Sunday with a 2-week notice for new events.

Desired:
- Experience managing teams in catering or restaurant settings.
- Bartending or bar management experience preferred.
Compensation: $24-30 per hour tips
Schedule:
- Typically: Mondays and Tuesdays off. Scheduling is open to flexibility. Please communicate your needs with us and we will try our best to work with you.
- Open availability required Wednesday through Sunday.
