Position Details
Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a paralegal in family law
Paralegal certification or a degree from an accredited institution preferred (if no certification, a degree may be considered comparable)
Proficiency in legal research and case management software (Clio experience a plus!)
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with clients

Position Details
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Location: Cumming Office - In-person training for 60 days; hybrid option available if requirements are met
- Pay: $62,250.00 yearly
- Assist multiple attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and domestic violence
- Draft basic pleadings and correspondence
- Meet a minimum billable requirement
- Conduct legal research and compile case information
- Manage case files and ensure all documents are properly filed and updated
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, court hearings, and client consultations
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and third parties
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely task completion
- Prepare and file court documents through e-filing systems
- Provide light office management support, including maintaining office supplies and ensuring office organization
- Work independently and take initiative to keep cases progressing efficiently
