This role is responsible for creating a warm welcome, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism, efficiency, and genuine hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Arrival & Departure Experience
- Greet all guests promptly with professionalism and personalized recognition upon arrival
- Assist with vehicle doors, luggage handling, and valet services with care and efficiency
- Provide clear guidance regarding check-in procedures and resort orientation
- Ensure a smooth and effortless departure experience
- Secure, transport, and deliver guest luggage safely and efficiently
- Valet park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and courteous manner
- Provide transportation services throughout the resort as needed
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to special requests promptly and professionally
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on dining, amenities, and resort experiences
- Deliver personalized touches that elevate the overall guest experience
- Assist Butlers with escorting guests to their accommodations
- Clearly explain room features, amenities, and safety information
- Ensure guest comfort and familiarity with the Inn and resort offerings
- Partner with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Butler teams to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain clear communication to ensure service excellence across departments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of arrival areas and guest corridors
- Remove room service items and ensure public areas reflect luxury standards
- Assist with additional duties including light housekeeping support and administrative tasks
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing Forbes-standard training initiatives
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months of hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate guest vehicles
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent lifting of luggage up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs
- Ability to bend, lift, reach, and perform physically active tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong visual awareness and attention to detail
