Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and supervising daily maintenance operations
- Lead and train staff members on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Help manage daily course setup, including cup cutting, bunkers, mowing, and detail work
- Participate in pesticide and fertilizer applications, calibration, and record keeping
- Oversee irrigation operation, hand watering, troubleshooting, and repair work
- Assist with cultural practices, renovations, and improvement projects
- Support preparation for tournaments and resort events, including the RBC Heritage
- Contribute to scheduling, crew organization, and labor management
- Mentorship from the Superintendent and agronomic leadership
- Exposure to three distinctive championship golf courses
- Networking with industry leaders, vendors, and PGA TOUR professionals
- Long-term advancement opportunities within The Sea Pines Resort
- 1–3 years of golf course maintenance experience preferred
- Supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus
- Degree or certificate in turfgrass management preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to grow professionally
- Solid understanding of turf maintenance practices and irrigation systems
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
