What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Brand Designer position at The Sage Group?
About the Company
The Sage Group’s client, a leading AI company, is searching for a Senior Brand Designer with systems design experience. The Enterprise Creative team produces the brand work that surrounds our relationships with our enterprise customers and partners — from joint campaigns and vertical launches to the design system that lets the people we work with tell stories with us.
About the Role
As the program grows, we’re bringing on a Senior Designer on contract to be a core creative partner across two connected bodies of work: our co-marketing program with partners, and the design surface of our customer marketing function. This role is anchored in systems-level design.
Responsibilities
- You’ll build and steward the templates, components, lockups, and brand foundations that allow great work to ship at scale — across marketplaces, partner kits, customer case studies, events, and the self-serve brand portal that partners and customers use to represent their work with us.
- You’ll also contribute to the wider team’s campaign and brand work when the moment calls for it.
- On any given month, you might:
- Design and evolve the template kits that power customer case studies and customer videos at scale
- Build out partner marketplace pages and co-branded event creative
- Shape the partner lockup system and Claude brand standards used across our self-serve co-brand portal
- Direct outside agencies producing paid social, display, and landing-page work against your specs and templates
- Refresh and maintain the co-marketing guidelines used across partner-facing teams
- Design customer case studies, advocacy assets, and creative for customer events and announcement moments
- Contribute to vertical campaign extensions, event and OOH adaptations, and paid social versioning when the team needs depth
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of performance marketing and growth-focused creative leadership
- Experience in B2B technology marketing or SaaS growth marketing
Required Skills
- Have strong systems design instincts — you build templates, components, and brand foundations that hold up at scale and in other people’s hands
- Have familiarity with co-marketing, partner marketing, or customer marketing creative
- Seeking excellence in typography, digital design, and campaign or brand activation work
- Have range across multiple surfaces — case study layouts, event creative, web, social
- Are fluent in Figma at the library and component level (variants, auto-layout, shared styles)
- Ship at speed without losing craft
- Bring a clear, articulable design point of view and can write a brief as well as you can design from one
Preferred Skills
- Built design systems, template libraries, or self-serve brand portals that non-designers actually used
- Familiarity with the conventions of cloud or partner marketplaces (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience directing light motion or video work when briefing outside agencies
- A strong point of view on AI in a design workflow

Our enterprise brand is in a generative moment. Our customer and partner list is dense — the systems you build and the work you ship will appear alongside names people recognize. The senior partners across creative, marketing, and customer programs are sharp, the lanes are clean, and the work is unusually varied for a single role. For a senior systems designer who values range and craft in equal measure, this is a rare contract — meaningful surface area, strong collaborators, and a brand foundation you’ll leave behind that outlasts the engagement.
