Shift Manager | High-Volume QSR

Role Overview

High-volume quick-service restaurant (QSR) locations across the Greater Lake City and Macclenny region are seeking experienced, operational Shift Managers to lead daily store operations. Centrally positioned along the I-10 corridor in Sanderson, FL 32087, this listing encompasses high-volume QSR store placements across both the Macclenny, FL 32063 and Lake City, FL 32024 markets. Shift Managers oversee real-time floor execution, direct crew positioning during peak rushes, drive drive-thru speed-of-service metrics, and enforce food safety standards across all dayparts.

Key Responsibilities

• Floor & Shift Leadership: Manage real-time crew positioning, break rotations, and workflow execution during high-volume breakfast, lunch, and dinner peak periods.
• Drive-Thru & Operational Execution: Monitor speed-of-service metrics (OEPE/KVS), resolve bottlenecks immediately, and ensure product quality and order accuracy.
• Food Safety & Compliance: Complete daily food safety checklists, perform temperature audits, monitor product holding times, and enforce health department standards.
• Cash & Inventory Controls: Execute drawer audits, manage cash drops, complete shift inventory counts, and track food waste to meet cost targets.
• Team Supervision: Conduct pre-shift huddles, deliver real-time feedback, and mentor crew members to ensure adherence to operational standards.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 1 years of supervisory or shift management experience within a high-volume quick-service restaurant (QSR) environment.
• Proven track record of managing drive-thru operations and floor positioning during peak volume hours.
• Working knowledge of QSR inventory management, cash control protocols, and labor scheduling alignment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate team members under fast-paced conditions.

Mandatory Non-Negotiables

• Active ServSafe Food Handler or ServSafe Food Manager Certification.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Reliable personal transportation for scheduled dayparts within the Macclenny or Lake City market areas.
• Open schedule availability, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay: $17.00 / hour (Base Salary)
