District Manager | Multi-Unit Fast-Casual Chicken QSR

Role Overview

A fast-casual chicken restaurant organization operating in Downtown, Raleigh, NC 27601 is seeking an experienced District Manager to oversee operational performance across 4 regional store locations in the Raleigh-Durham market. This role provides leadership, operational oversight, and financial management while directly supporting and coaching General Managers. The position requires active local travel between the 4 designated market locations to drive operational execution and maintain store-level standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Unit Operations: Direct operations across 4 regional fast-casual store locations to maintain high operational standards, speed of service, and product quality.
• Financial Oversight & P&L Management: Manage multi-unit P&L performance, drive sales growth, and oversee food and labor cost controls.
• Leadership & GM Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and retain General Managers, fostering leadership development and store succession pipelines.
• Operational Audits: Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to brand standards, operational procedures, and health/safety regulations.
• Market Strategy: Execute store marketing efforts and maintain customer satisfaction scores across the designated market.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Multi-Unit Background: Minimum of 3 years of multi-unit restaurant management experience supervising 3 or more locations.
• Industry Focus: Multi-unit leadership experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or Fast Casual environments; chicken concept or high-volume fast-casual experience preferred.
• Financial Management: Proven ability to analyze and manage store-level P&L statements, operational budgets, and prime costs.
• Team Leadership: Strong track record in coaching, developing, and retaining store General Managers.
• Operational Execution: Ability to conduct thorough operational audits and implement store-level improvements across multiple sites.

Mandatory Non-Negotiables

• Minimum of 3 years of multi-unit restaurant management experience overseeing 3 or more store locations in QSR or Fast Casual.
• Must reside locally in the Raleigh-Durham/Triangle, NC market with full availability for regular travel between 4 store locations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation for multi-unit site visits.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 annually (estimated; final confirmation pending client review)
