Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, hands-on General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations of a new restaurant location in Kansas City. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for full operational ownership, financial performance, team development, and guest experience.
The ideal candidate operates with an owner/operator mindset, is highly engaged on the floor, and thrives in a fast-paced, full-service scratch kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all FOH and BOH daily operations
- Own full P&L performance including revenue, labor, and food cost management
- Lead hiring, training, coaching, and retention of team members and managers
- Drive consistent execution of service standards, quality, and cleanliness
- Monitor and act on key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve profitability
- Ensure exceptional guest experience and community engagement
- Maintain operational discipline and accountability across all shifts
- Lead from the floor during peak service periods
- Support pre-opening planning and new store launch execution
Candidate Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Full-service restaurant leadership experience (scratch kitchen preferred)
- Strong financial management experience (P&L ownership required)
- Proven ability managing revenue, labor, and COGS targets
- Hands-on, operationally active leadership style
- Experience hiring, training, and managing FOH and BOH teams
- High standards for cleanliness, service, and operational execution
- Ability to thrive in high-volume environments
