Executive Pastry Chef – Bronx, NY | $130K–$150KLocation: Bronx, NYSalary: $130,000–$150,000 discretionary bonusJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to lead our Bronx-based commissary production kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative culinary professional to oversee pastry operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Responsibilities:Lead all pastry production, including baked goods, confections, and specialty desserts.Manage food purchasing, inventory, and cost controls for meat, fish, poultry, dry, and frozen ingredients.Oversee production targets in a commissary setting, including pounds produced per week and banquet/catering covers per day or week.Develop, mentor, and manage kitchen staff in a high-volume distribution environment.Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all pastry items.Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to optimize workflow and production efficiency.Requirements:Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef in a commissary or large-scale production environment.Must have commissary experience.Strong leadership and team development skills.Hands-on experience with high-volume pastry production, banquet, and catering operations.Portfolio or sample photos of past creations required for consideration.Ability to manage food purchasing and budgets.Flexible and reliable, able to work early, mid, or late shifts as needed.Shift Options:6:00 AM – 2:00 PM2:00 / 3:00 PM – 12:00 / 1:00 AM10:00 AM – 7:00 PMBenefits:Medical, Dental, VisionCompany-paid Life Insurance401K retirement contributionTeladoc virtual healthcareOptional FSA and commuter benefitsEmployee discount programsNext Steps:Candidates moving forward will be asked to provide portfolio/sample photos of their work.If you meet these qualifications and are ready to lead at a high level within a dynamic, growth-focused organization, we encourage you to apply.
