Position Overview
A rapidly growing fast-casual wing concept with a strong off-premise and takeout focus is seeking a seasoned Director of Operations / District Manager to lead market expansion and multi-unit performance.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for market entry, new unit openings, and scaling operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is a proven multi-unit operator who can balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution during early-stage growth.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Unit Leadership
Oversee multiple restaurant locations with full accountability for operational and financial performance
Drive consistency in execution, guest experience, and brand standards across all units
Monitor and improve KPIs including sales, labor, food cost, and profitability
Market Expansion & Openings
Lead market entry strategy including site openings, staffing, and operational setup
Build infrastructure and processes to support scalable growth
Play a key role in launching and stabilizing new locations
Team Development
Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing General Managers and leadership teams
Create a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
Provide coaching and ongoing development for multi-unit leadership
Operational Excellence
Implement systems, processes, and performance standards across all locations
Ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and revenue optimization
Maintain a strong presence in the field, especially during early-stage operations
Strategic Partnership
Collaborate with senior leadership on market growth strategy and long-term planning
Provide insights and recommendations based on operational performance and market trends
Qualifications
5 years of multi-unit leadership experience (District Manager, Director of Operations, or equivalent)
Strong background in fast-casual or QSR environments
Experience with wing-focused or similar high-volume concepts strongly preferred
Proven track record of managing multiple locations with full P&L responsibility
Experience leading new market entry, openings, or rapid growth initiatives preferred
Strong operational expertise in labor management, cost control, and sales performance
