Position Overview
The Controller will oversee accounting and financial operations across multiple related entities, ensuring accurate reporting, streamlined systems, and scalable financial processes.
This role requires a strong operator who can manage day-to-day accounting while helping create structure and efficiencies that support continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting across multiple business entities
- Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Oversee payroll processing and financial accuracy
- Prepare financial reports and consolidated reporting for ownership
- Maintain and optimize QuickBooks systems and workflows
- Build and improve internal accounting processes and controls
- Manage accounts payable, vendor payments, and cash flow tracking
- Ensure financial accuracy across multi-location operations
- Support growth initiatives by implementing scalable financial systems
- Partner directly with leadership to improve reporting visibility and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level QuickBooks experience
- 5 years of progressive accounting/controller experience
- Strong multi-entity accounting experience
- Hospitality industry accounting/finance background required
- Payroll and bookkeeping expertise
- Experience improving financial systems and processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-starter with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
