Compensation & Shift Rates

1. Certified Med Tech: Starting at $17.10 per hour
2. Med Tech in Training: Starting at $15.60 per hour
   1. Note: Training phase hires are required to successfully complete the Med Tech training program and state exam within the first 45 days of employment to unlock promotional pay increases.

Key Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: Safely and accurately administer, document, and store medications according to physician orders and state regulatory guidelines.
• Training Phase (if applicable): Shadow certified Med Techs and supervisors to master safe protocols, completing all certification requirements within your first 45 days.
• Resident Care: Provide high-quality assistance to senior residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals) during the afternoon shift.
• Observation & Safety: Monitor resident well-being, recognize potential side effects, and accurately report physical or behavioral changes to the shift supervisor.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a nursing home, skilled nursing facility, or hospital setting is required.
• Age/Education: Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Skills: Strong communication skills and basic math proficiency (for accurate medication counting and documentation).
• Availability: Ability to work the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift, including a rotating weekend schedule.
• Screening: Ability to pass standard pre-employment background checks, drug screenings, and state-mandated competency exams.
