Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change and totals.
• Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to legal drinking age laws and responsible serving policies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service or catering events like banquets to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables or bar patrons without compromising quality or speed.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as needed.
• Uphold high standards of food handling and safety protocols at all times to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
• Experience serving at banquets or catering events is a plus, showcasing versatility in various food service settings.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is required to uphold health standards.
• Familiarity with retail math for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management enhances operational efficiency.
• Hospitality or food industry experience that highlights excellent time management skills in fast-paced environments is highly valued.
